What We Do
Neuro Meetups Bern wants to connect researchers in an informal setup at the university of Bern. We started these events in order to give young neuroscientists the chance to present their work, get more visibility and to network with other scientists. We strive to promote excellence and collegiality, and offer events tailor-made to the young neuroscience community in Bern throughout the year.

Clinical Neuroscience Bern is an interdisciplinary consortium of research groups from different fields. The main purpose is to connect neuroscientific researchers, promote research quality, and increase the clinical impact at Bern.
The Promotion Fund aims to encourage networking activities of young researchers from doctoral study (PhD) level upwards. In cooperation with the Intermediate Staff Association of the University of Bern (Mittelbauvereinigung), the Vice-Rectorate Research calls for proposals to the Fund for the Promotion of Young Researchers twice a year.

The Neuro Meetups Bern could not take place without funding. To offer the best quality events, we are looking for sponsors that help us cover the travel expenses of external speakers, the booking of rooms and the printing of flyers and posters for publicity. Moreover, funding also allow us to organize a small apéro at the end of the events, which is a fundamental part to provide the informal setting for networking.
